Scott has been in the construction business for over forty years. He built his first house in Chesapeake, Virginia and his first house in North Carolina only seven years ago.
Scott learned the business of construction from the ground up, starting as a teenager and working for his Uncle Bob. When he mastered one skill, he would go to his uncle and ask to learn something else. For over forty years, he has continued to sharpen his knowledge of building, while his passion for building extraordinary homes continues to grow. Scott’s knowledge of every aspect of the home building process, combined with his unrelenting love for EVERYTHING Caribbean make his homes truly unique. While Scott enjoys new construction, he also loves to remodel existing homes from the ground floor up.
He first entered the OBX Parade of Homes in 2005. He and his wife were truly humbled by the tremendous response from the judges and the visitors alike. After walking through one of Sea Thru’s custom homes, it is no surprise that his house won the Special Features award, the Award of Excellence, as well as the People’s Choice Award.
