I just wanted to send you a quick letter to tell you how great it has been working with your company to have our beach house remodeled and an addition put on as well.When we first decided to go ahead with the project, we asked our rental agency for referrals. We contacted the three companies that were recommended and picked three companies at random from the phone book. After doing some research we chose four companies to discuss our project and to give us bids. Because one company was unable to begin the project that year, we recieved three bids. The estimates were only several hundred dollars apart. We decided to view first hand the work of those three companies. One company we quickly eliminated, and we were down to Sea-Thru construction and one other company. In reality though we knew after meeting with Scott and seeing the quality of his work that Sea-Thru was the company we wanted.
We could not have made a better choice.
Scott’s commitment to excellence was apparent from our first meeting and visiting some of his construction sites confirmed our first impression. I was especially impressed with the tight fit of the siding and windows and the attention to detail of the interior trim. The same attention to detail could be found throughout the addition. But the real glue holding the company together is Vickie, who was always available at the office to answer questions and calm our fears. Send Vickie an e-mail and the response was almost immediate. Call the office and Vickie or Jodie were there to answer our questions. Everyone in the company was willing to go the extra mile to be helpful including Scotty who called me often to keep me informed of the project’s progress. When we had to go before the Duck zoning committe, Scott went with us to help plead our case. In all, a project the could have been a nightmare turned out to be almost trouble free. So once again let me thank you for being the kind of company whose ethical behavior and commitment to quality helped us realize our dream to improve our Duck property.

I would definitely call Sea Thru Construction. Scott and his team did some interior work and replaced my decks. I was impressed. Price was good and they kept the place impeccably clean. It was a well managed, perfectly timed job. He does a lot of work for another friend of mine and she can’t say enough good things about them.

My wife and I experienced a great deal of water damage due to the Hurricane, and Sea Thru Construction came through for us with flying colors. Not only did they complete the work with incredible quality, they also did so in a timely manner as we approached the rental season. IN the past, we have found it very difficult to have work performed on the Outer Banks due to the fact that most people really don’t like to work. We come from a fast paced environment in the DC Metropolitan area where a strong work ethic is the norm; furthermore, it’s quite difficult to monitor work being performed from 5 hours away.
With Sea Thru, we NEVER encountered any problems with any deadlines or craftmanship of the work, and we would HIGHLY recommend Sea Thru to anyone needing any housing construction services.
